The Government of Navarra, through the Sports Institute, is considering adding to the network of sports facilities in Navarra a new specific facility for the practice of athletics in winter, in response to the demand of athletes, clubs and the Athletics Federation of Navarra. Given the possibilities offered by the market to meet the needs demanded by athletics in Navarra and the economic uncertainty derived from the investment to be made, and the costs of managing the facility, a preliminary study has been carried out that analyzes the map of existing indoor athletics tracks in Spain and approximates the economic scope of the investment that the Government of Navarra must face in order to build the aforementioned facility.

The study carried out by Avento consists of two phases: In the first phase of the study, the map of indoor athletics tracks in Spain was analyzed in order to determine the type of facility that best suits the needs of Navarre. In the second phase of the study, an economic analysis of the facility to be built was carried out, identifying the investment costs and the expenses derived from the ordinary management of the facility.
